The assignment should also define how the role changes after hours. If the officer leaves the desk for a patrol checkpoint, the property needs a plan for the entrance during that period.
This preparation also gives property managers a consistent standard for comparing proposed coverage instead of relying on job titles that different providers may interpret differently.
Require Useful Records
A daily record should help management understand what routine activity occurred, what exception occurred, what action followed and what remains open. Visitor details, access records and incident information may be sensitive, so the property should also define who receives each record and how it is handled.
